About Hole in the Woods Farm
Connecting You to Fresh, Local Flavor
At Hole in the Woods Farm, we have a simple mission: to help us all eat like we live here. We believe food should do more than nourish—it should delight, inspire, and connect.
Nestled on 35 sustainable acres in Culver, Indiana, our Certified Naturally Grown farm grows fresh, seasonal, nutrient-dense food that nourishes both people and the planet. Our approach goes beyond farming—it’s about creating connections: to the land, to the seasons, and to the local community that shares in the bounty.

A Commitment to Sustainability
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to caring for the land and environment. From our soil-building grazing practices and eliminating single-use plastics in production and packaging, to protecting endangered food crops and pollinator habitat, we’re working to achieve a farm that is better than carbon neutral.
Real People: A Story Built on Passion
Our story began in 2005 when Chad and Xenia met while teaching at the Culver Academies. A shared love of food, creativity, and community inspired them to dream of something bigger. By 2010, that dream had taken root on 35 sandy acres nestled on a quiet country road. Hole in the Woods Farm was born, a certified naturally grown farm committed to regenerative practices and environmental stewardship.
From our 100% grass-fed, carbon-negative lambs to compostable packaging and low-impact vegetable production, every choice we make reflects our commitment to sustainability. Over the years, our farm has grown into a way of life—a place where people can reconnect with local, seasonal food and enjoy its unrivaled flavor and freshness.
